The news regarding the brain scan wasn't good and we should learn more on Monday. Surgery is likely. 

We finally found out which hospital he was in and what ward. We are not allowed to visit due to covid. It's like mum all over again; not being with them when they (probably) need you most. Just leave an 85 year old, sick man to deal with it all on his own. I mustn't dwell on it. Nothing we can do about it. 

I have steps into the cutting again so I shall be gardening there tomorrow. 

We had an evening walk and it was beautiful.
