Enjoying the beach

When we were in Lyme Regis in May we tried to walk to Charmouth along the coastal path but were unable to as there had been a landslide. We’ve walked there today along the higher coastal path. As it’s further away from the coast there were no amazing views.

As we walked down towards the sea there was a buddleia covered with butterflies. See the extra.

We ate our lunch watching a family play with a kite. Happy memories of doing the same with my children.

As the tide was out we walked back along the beach.

Lots of people were looking for fossils and lots of stones were being hit with fossil hammers. In the extras you can see in a rock and also HtP drawing his own.

We’ve had a very yummy take away pizza and then we’ve been back to the theatre to see Fay Hield, Sam Sweeney and Rob Harbron. Another lovely evening.
