My topsy-turvy life

Mireille & Nige

Another wedding today. It was lovely and unique and a joy to see two people so happy. The ceremony was at the Lion Hotel before a drinks and cake reception at The River View Cafe offering, as the name suggests, views of the river (over the former site of Gay Meadow). Unfortunately Louisa and me missed out on the cake offerings as we had to go and pick up the boys for the evening garden party -Owen's outfit obviously included Hulk hands!

I'm so happy for Mireille and she didn't stop smiling all day (or night). It's just a shame her family couldn't come over from the Netherlands thanks to quarantine/isolation rules. But they did get to join in the ceremony via Zoom and Mireille gave her Mum a walk around at the reception* and garden party.
A wonderful day for them both!

The dress was hand-painted by Mireille herself.
