Fishburn International...

Called in here a couple of weeks ago to take a look at some classic cars and noticed that there was a small cafe' so this morning we called back for a quick breakfast.    Fishburn Airfield is a small grass strip airfield in Fishburn, County Durham. The airfield was opened on 30 June 1995 and was were soon named as "Airfield of the year" by aviation magazine Flyer for its welcoming atmosphere and bacon butties.  There are a few vintage RAF exhibits outside including a de Havilland Sea Vampire, a Venom and a  Dove.  Not many places where you can look out at vintage aircraft whilst eating breakfast!
