Sunday School

Not the kind of Sunday School I used to go to in 1947.
There I was taught to read ten verses from the Bible every day and
tested on them the following week. It was called ‘Crusaders’ a name which might
be disapproved of nowadays.
My parents said they were Wesleyan Methodists but I never recall them going
to Church.  I know I felt my Bible class was to give them a couple of hours of peace
on a Sunday afternoon.

The Sunday School in my Blip is rather more concerned with fun and pleasure. And probably
with getting wet.
