Just Waiting

Orchard Orbweaver spiders are  some of the most common spiders in the Eastern U.S. They are of the family Tetragnathidae, the long-jawed 
orbweavers. Since I noticed a smaller spider traipsing around on the web, my guess is that this is the larger female. Don't hold me to that though. Although I do appreciate spiders as a group, Orchard Orbweavers are  a favorite of mine. I love their colors and carefully woven webs! 
Please keep all of the lives in danger from Hurricane Ida in your thoughts. And if you are the praying kind, that certainly wouldn't hurt either.
