Port Sanilac Light

We went to a 70th birthday party for an old friend today on the shore of one of our great lakes. Lake Huron. It was nice to spend some time with her and her husband (who planned the surprise party.)

Was the surprise pulled off? I guess she was clueless until the big truck pulled up with the porta-potty. Nothing quite like an outhouse to spoil the suspense.

Port Sanilac Lighthouse was 15 miles north of the party, so we checked it out before heading home. While it used to be state-owned, it is now a private residence. Can you imagine living here?
