WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

A visit from Bella’s first family!

Our Bella was first adopted by a lovely Polish family who live near Preston back in 2017. They had only had her a month but their youngest boy who was a toddler at the time was very allergic to her so they had to get in touch with the Romanian Rescue who advertised her again on Facebook. We saw her cute little face and fell in love. When we went to collect her it was heartbreaking as Viola, Jacob and the boys Karol 9 and Oscar 6 had already bonded with her. There were many tears on that day.
We have kept in touch and become friends though we don’t see each other often, especially since Covid.
Bella never forgets her first family and went berserk when they arrived.
We took them all on the boat to Skipton and the boys had fun on their scooters on the ramps in Aireville Park and we had a picnic. The boys each had a go at steering the boat. They are a lovely family and the boys are so sweet, polite and affectionate. Due to Covid they haven’t seen their grandparents in Poland for over 2 years.
In the bottom right photo they are watching while I am trying to get the boat back over the canal after the wind took me to the other side while they were opening the swing bridge!
Viola and Jacob now foster dogs from the same Romanian rescue place - PerreraUK. They are an excellent organisation run by a few women from Romania, Scotland and England. I can’t praise them highly enough.
Their street dogs are first assessed over there, then brought over to foster homes to see how they get on in various family situations and once they know that they are safe with kids, other dogs and cats they can look for appropriate homes for them. Of course some require quiet homes with no kids, dogs or cats.

I picked up my new specs today and they are fine. Also went to the ee shop only to find it has turned into a bakers shop! What the…! They never mentioned they were moving premises when I was in on Friday! Still no phone connection and they would be closed anyway as it’s bank holiday.
So still no phone connection.

Now I have to pack my rucksack as I’m heading up to Airdrie on the train at 8.40 to stay at Sabrina’s for a week..

Thanks for all the comments, stars and hearts lovely Blippers!
Goodnight :-)X
