A glass of wine?

Yes please.  On Saturday my daughter-in-law, M, tried to go to Canada to visit her mother.  My niece went last month to visit her son and had a lot of grief at London airport although she had followed all the regulations required by  Canada. She was finally able to board a plane on the following day - after paying for overnight accommodation in London plus the cost of further covod tests due to the time lapse.  So M had been extra careful making sure all of her paperwork was in order.  She flew from Glasgow with no problems raised.  In London she presented at the Air Canada check-in and everything was fine until she got to the boarding gate where she was told her clearance papers weren't complete.  She was obviously distraught, She came home then received an email today saying Air Canada apologized for the cancellation yesterday and the flight was going at 6.30 this evening - too late for M to get to London. No one was answering phone calls so she was unable to tell them she wouldn't be on the flight and she has no idea where her luggage is as it had been checked all the way through from Glasgow. .
Hence the bottle of wine
Thanks to Carolina for hosting MM this month.  I've learned a few new things about photography.
