Lyme Park

I have wanted to visit the NT’s Lyme Park for many years and as it was less than 10 miles from our rented cottage we visited on our way home :-)

It’s really wonderful - we walked around the house, the Italian garden, the Orangery, other parts of the garden and the Reflection Lake made famous by Colin Firth in an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice!!

A lovely day before we set off to sit on the M1 for our journey home :(
