Juangamba......

.......here's one for your collection! :-)

Spotted this, and his identical twin, outside Talisman Antiques tonight, right next to where I live. Talisman dates back 30 years when it was set up in our old brewery (must tell you about that in a future blip!). Talisman opened its flagship London Art Deco store on the New King's Road in 2006 and along with new premises on the Pimlico Road and the original showroom housed here in Gillingham, all three stores showcase Talisman's signature selection of decorative objects and furniture. An eclectic mix of European 18th and 19th century antiques, mid-century modern furniture, accessories, lighting and bespoke Talisman designs sit alongside each other. In the showroom here the newly landscaped formal and sculptural gardens displays a variety of English and Continental 18th and 19th century statuary and 20th century sculpture.
Talisman has long been in the address books of top fashion and interior designers. In an age of mass production, it is increasingly rare to find such distinctly unique designs spanning three centuries, and rarer still to find them presented with the style, flair and idiosyncratic theatricality that Talisman is renowned for. There is also a Royal link - I believe the owner/director is the sister of Camilla Parker Bowles. Every Summer Talisman have an amazing Open Day and all the well to do guests, and one year even Camilla Parker Bowles herself, park their limousines in the field right next to our cottage. I don't think HRH Prince Charles has visited yet......maybe this year! We don't visit......no price tags!!!!!!!
