Colour on a grey day

Such a grey day, no rain but no sun at all.  Spent the morning clearing up, picking sweet peas and generally doing stuff around the house.  In the afternoon we went for a walk in Cowdray Park and went up close to the ruins for the first time in decades. I’d forgotten what a complete house it was and what a sense of the place there is.  More surprising that it wasn’t rebuilt.
