Gathering

After 2 years off we are back to doing a bit of gathering and sheep work. For a farmer we started working for in 2007. He is giving up the farm so we are doing the last gathers and sort outs with him. What a beautifully perfect day for a gather. Dogs are a little rusty but never really forget. Their wee faces when we set out with our crooks in hand was wonderful to see. I've been doing a lot of videoing today hoping to put together something when we are done. So I didn't take many pictures. Thankfully we did one half of the hill then the dogs got the afternoon to rest while we sorted through all the sheep we had got in.
