1930s tourer.

Saw this Austin Six outside the shops in West Clyde St, Helensburgh this afternoon. The front tyres caught my eye, they’re quite different - I don’t suppose they’re exactly easy to come by. It wasn’t in “showroom condition;” it actually looked like it was used - there was an old TV in the front seat, a hi-vis jacket in the back. We’d a walk along Helensburgh promenade to Rhu marina. A pleasant afternoon. The Gare Loch was calm during our walk and later when we drove down the west side to Rosneath. Around the headland and up Loch Long the scenery was great, as aye. We drove past the widely denounced U.K. Government storage and submarine loading facility for their Trident nuclear warheads before heading for Loch Lomond.

Watched the SNP - Scottish Greens Power-Sharing Deal Statement from Holyrood this evening.

Katie cat, our daughter-in-law and older son’s 20 year old cat is particularly unwell. Dark times.
