First day of spring

With the warm weather it brings the first hive inspection of the season with some young feisty bees, they have fur collars that have not been worn away, on the Queen excluder. I was very please with not only the number of bees but the amount of eggs, pupa and capped brood so I have come through winter with a strong hive. They have already replaced the honey they consumed through the winter soI have added a brood box and a honey super so they will have plenty to do. You know what they say about :Busy bees"! The white dots in front of the hive are fast flying bees.
