Today is the first day of meteorological spring - the weeds are growing fast and the sun is staying in the sky longer every day.

Covid update - Day 15 of lockdown (Alert Level 3)
There are 75 new cases - 74 in Auckland and 1 in Wellington
A total of 687 confirmed community cases in NZ
Thirty two people are in hospital with eight in intensive care.

All of NZ below the Auckland/Waikato boundary enjoyed the first day in Alert Level 3.  Perhaps this time next week we will be in Level 2!
