Tap & Spile

This is Mono Monday on a Wednesday.

Mostly we brew on Monday, Mostly.
This week the brewer had other plans so he brewed on Wednesday, so the apprentice got all mixed up with the day of the week.

A spile is a hardwood peg driven into the  bung (or Shive) of a beer barrel to release the gas pressure, traditionally. Traditionally the Tap would be metal.
