Welcome stranger

Under my patio chair, on a grey day, now lives a sunny-faced blow-in. I noticed this little viola today but it’s obviously been gearing up to flower for at least a week. It makes a welcome change from the usual weeds that stubbornly set their feet down beneath the slabs!
