Tucked Up For The Night

My blip for today is a ladybird nestled snugly in amongst the spiky seed pods of a Cross Leaf Gentiana (I stand to be corrected!)

Working at The Moat where I volunteer, I noticed a high number of small insects today, and thought this image made a nice study. I was pleased with the level of detail captured by the phone camera, but I wish I had had my DSLR. Never mind.
