Chickadee

There was a small group of these energetically picking bugs or bits off the buddleia, and my UK id reference for them was 'coal tit'.  Checked the reference card - they were chickadees, and are supposed to be 'common' . There were grey bush tits getting themselves wet in the bushes in next garden bed - the birds come when the spray irrigation is running.  As we are encouraged to save water, more and more of the irrigation for gardens is in buried leaky pipes, which isn't available to the birds ..
