Drama Under the Hedge

A warm, sunny afternoon, the first for at least a week. There were wasps quietly feeding on the windfalls by the hedge when this bovver boy suddenly appeared and disturbed the scene.

The hedge-cutting is still ongoing - not helped by the discovery of a wasps' nest close to this spot. I'd like to get a shot of it - this afternoon was the first time there's been any natural light in on it, but I attracted too much attention standing on the step ladder - & in the flight path! Maybe later...
