We’re a couple of swells ……

….. but we don’t live in the best hotels we live in a burrow which we dig ourselves or we might pinch one that had been excavated by a prairie dog …… that really explains why we are called Burrowing Owls.

This pair have been resident in the Children’s Zoo in Calderglen Country Park for a number of years and just to keep their accommodation up to scratch they share their space with a couple of prairie dogs.
