The Oak at Lupton House

Yesterday the state of the World’s Trees Report 2021 was published. This is an impressive old oak at Lupton House Devon. Estimates say there are 3.04 trillion trees in the world. 50% are in the 5 biggest countries . 30% of tree species are threatened with extinction.
We went there for lunch and a walk along the permitted paths. It is a wedding venue, and run by a community trust to raise funds to facilitate restoration.
