Towards the end of a dull grey day when the clouds were blanketing the landscape I wandered into the garden wondering what I could possibly take for my blip. I need not have worried because the small garden birds were at the feeders in their droves. I took quite a few group shots but none of them really made the grade as as one or more of them would have their heads deep inside the feeder.so you have a singleton - a  goldfinch which I think is a juvenile as they have less colourful plumage. than the adult birds
