Wisps Over Distant Light

Home again, and what a struggle, returning to a well trodden path compared to the new and exciting subject matter of recent weeks. I wish now I had used my time more wisely, photographed more and got beyond the obvious. But that's hindsight.

Now the challenge was to find something new to photograph in the old familiar haunts and regain a routine. Both approaches would seem to have their pros and cons, one new stimulus, the other greater introspection.

I initially thought this image a rather lazy capture, but on reflection I see it has some connection to the wider views of recent days. I do like the wispy clouds and a touch of colour to the distant sky.
