Bank Holiday Monday

As usual I was awake from about 5ish. Mum messaged at 8.20am asking if we were up. They were in the shop and said about coming up for a cup of tea and to say hello to the Little Misses. We were drinking tea in bed so jumped up so we could tidy round a bit before they arrived. They arrived about two minutes after we got down!
Luckily the house isn’t in too much of a state!
We had tea and coffee and chatted for an hour or so. Papa is going to sort the paint for Miss E’s room and come and help Mr K put the wallpaper up.
I had a message from the courier this morning saying there would be no charge for the return of the sofa and told mum the sorry saga. She looked at pictures and said she’d like it for Dom’s house. He’d ordered himself an inappropriately giant corner sofa - against everyone’s better judgement!! The order was delayed so he sadly never got to see it. But at least he didn’t have to admit that mum was right and it was far too big and would fill the entire room!!!
The rest of the day was pretty lazy. We had no Bank Holiday plans as we should have been away.
We walked into town at lunchtime. I shared Mr K’s chips which was a treat. I normally just watch him eat them!!
And we bought several packets of chocolate covered marzipan from Waitrose. And Yum-Yums!
Need to stop eating. Sigh.
