Great Blue Fishing

I got up early and headed out for the La Chua Trail, and then was going to head over to Lochloosa and see if the eagles were out and about.

I got to the trail, parked, ad walked about a mile down the trail when weather started moving in. I snatched a couple pics for a blip, one this great blue heron, just as it started to sprinkle.

I started running back to the car, because you could see very heavy rain in the distance.... I didn't make it!! Got somewhat wet, but it wasn't cold out, so no biggie.

Had big plans for today, but they have changed. Now I am getting a pot of chili simmering and going to make cornbread to go with it later.....
