Looking up

Despite the forecast, we were caught out in drizzle for about an hour this morning. Right on cue, the sun came out just as we bought an umbrella.

H finally got her award for completing a reading challenge, and then we ate lunch out with my Mum and perused the Portrait Gallery. After a quick swizz at the new St James shopping centre, aka those shops under the golden poo, we headed home.

This is Broughton St Mary's Parish Church, which opened in 1824 as the Bellevue Church. Steeplejacks have been building scaffolding for repairs to the tower.
