Rugby tournament

This morning my Son's school hosted it's largest rugby tournament of the season with over 400 players from Belgium Luxemburg and Wales (the team from England were delayed by the weather so didn't arrive until after the last match!).

My son's team got to the final (again) but lost (again).

Whilst the rugby was great the weather was awful, it didn't stop snowing, sleeting or raining for the entire tournament and with the bitter wind the temperature must have been -3. A small but dedicated team of mums (a few of us dad's did help out a bit) manned the refreshment tent from start to finish.

The BBQ's were on by 9:30 and throughout the tournament the smell of bacon & burgers wafted through the air.
