Day 18 "NN" - Our cottage and another sunset .....

I got up at 9 am to glorious sunshine!
Neil got the generator going and we could start charging the batteries.
We went to our bay that used to be a jetty.
Port Ard an Iasgaich.
Tide was low and the ground was full of winkles.
We decided that swimming there might not be the best option.
We were sitting in the sun and enjoyed the surrounding then walked to ‘the town’
It was beautiful.
First stop was the smoke house now run by a German couple. We had a chat and got smoked salmon, goats cheese, mussels and more.
On the main road is a wee history collection with loads of old photos and we had a long chat with Jean who works there.
Loved it.
We then got a couple of bottles of wine at the village shop.
Next stop was the Inn where I met Shona who lived in Seanlag until a couple of years ago.
We caught up with gossip, had a pint of cider each then walked back to our cottage, picking mushrooms on the way.
Had coffee in the evening sun, cooked dinner, killed another bottle and put the fire on for warm water.
Generator works but does not charge batteries.
Calum is coming tomorrow.
Hope he can sort it.
Early night

Blipping our lovely house, plus the quad which was very helpful to get luggage there:
There is another sunset ... or 2 in the extras ....
