A sunny day at the beach

Its been a beautiful sunny day today and we all headed out to the local beach in the morning.  Our grandson had a play in the playground and is slowly developing his confidence on the multifunctional frame thing.  

After lunch we collected our son from the train station and visited the beach in Exmouth.  Not surprisingly it was very busy but we easily found a spot on the beach.  We tried to encourage Lucas to walk on the sand or dip his feet in the sea but he wasn't impressed.  He did watch other children playing in the sea though.  So we took him for a ride in his trike to his favourite spot by the clock tower surrounded by flags, two of his favourite things.  He then enjoyed himself walking some of the way back to the car.  A lovely day out in the sunshine.
