Smashing day at the zoo with the Knights. We were up early to catch the bus there - turns out the bus stop had moved quite a long way, but we found it eventually.

We arrived just as they joined the queue to get in, perfect timing! Saw lots of animals, it was nice now Amy’s old enough to appreciate them. Also nice that Matt’s finally met them, only took nearly 3 years! Had a picnic lunch in the sunshine, and an ice cream afterwards. Our faves were probably the meerkats, and a particularly shouty gibbon.

Matt and I had planned to go to Bath in the afternoon but it was so hot and we were pretty tired so instead we went home to lounge in the sun.
