Late Afternoon Sunshine

The sky was overcast for most of the day, until the sun dipped below the nor’west arch. It was another nor’westery day. Everything is covered with pollen and grit. There’s always a bit of grit coming from the mountains, but it is a lot worse at present because of extensive ploughing upwind. Many crops here are grown for seed for export.
