Is This Spring or Winter returned?

This is Skellgill Farm in the heart of the Newlands Valley. It has been snowing hard here and the wind was one of those lazy types, it just goes staright through you!! This shot was taken in colour and later converted to monochrome in camera and looks more effective for it, although the original was almost as monochromatic such was the white landscape and the grey miserable sky. The walk was very good, from Keswick and back via Braithwaite and an excellent lunch in the pub there.
