Forward he said! Fun in the sun.

A lovely warm day today after a rather dull and grey week.  Finally our community choir was able to get back together and we did a “gig” in Bingley Market Square. Supposed to be a “flash mob” - that didn’t quite come off, but it was great to be singing again and have an appreciative audience.  When we started to arrive we could only see choir members so we thought we would be singing to an empty space, but people started to filter in, and seemed to enjoy the “disco” themed songs.  The photo is of a “disco ball” made from CDs.  It had a sound system inside, and the chap pointing the way forward was with a group of “disco dollies” who danced their way through our numbers.  Along with friends and fellow Blippers Corinthian, Jeanneb53 and husband C we followed most of the choir to a newly refurbished pub, The Market Tavern where we took over the beer garden!  Lovely to see everyone again and have a catch up.  Another gig next week at Saltaire’s “Yardfest” and then in October we are singing at the Black Bull in Haworth during the SteamPunk weekend.  There often seems to be a pub theme going on with our venues!
