Mrs UE for scale

This is Mrs UE standing next to a Martello Tower , at Alcafaur , one of many which encircle the island of Menorca. She agreed to stand there to give you an idea how big these towers are. She is 1.5 metres tall.

We were walking on a lovely stretch of the Cami de Cavalls , now a 180 kilometre plus footpath which encircles the Island and is becoming a reason to visit for walkers and cyclists... and horse riders.

We walked the whole path a few years ago and we’d highly recommend it.
