Down came the rain …….

….. not in torrents but judging by the puddles it had been raining gently for much of the night.

Very mild ……. perfect conditions for spiders to spin webs and instead of trapping flies the raindrops have settled on the gossamer threads.

The rain continued to fall very gently for most of the morning and the garden now looks so refreshed ….. verdant green grass and dark brown earth. The lovely rose belongs to a neighbour.
