Dad's glasses

My Dad was incredibly short sighted, and wore glasses all the time. In my mind I can never think of my Dad without his glasses. In fact, he once took his glasses off to rub his eyes and my daughter thought it was really funny!

Even on his last confused day, he had his glasses on so his world made sense (sort of).

I asked Mum if I could keep his glasses as a memento. Strange, but it just keeps a little part of Daddy in my life.
