Mad.....

...... as a box of frogs!

She went into the downstairs bathroom, to look at herself in the mirror - umm, how with a box on her head?!  Anyway, she thought it funny.

We made a cake today.  Alexandra requested an apple cake without sultanas.

I found a nice and easy recipe, a French apple cake.

I made it exactly to the recipe.  But I was a bit perturbed when it didn't appear to be rising.

It came out very flat.  I was very disappointed as I thought it was such a waste of ingredients.

Anyway, after it cooled we tried it.  And I was amazed, it was delicious.

Hope Alexandra likes it tomorrow.
