Anticipation III

Sometimes things that we greatly anticipate fizzle like these orchid buds have been. One by one they turn brown and fall off. Will any of them open after such a long wait?

Any how there are many other flower buds swelling in the garden outside to distract from this little disappointment. How lucky that a full life can give many moments of happy anticipation. the anticipation in the end is part of the fun.
