Spider Web

This morning some of my friends had spider web photos on line before I was  dressed. I was up at dawn and made a cuppa to take back to bed and noticed how foggy it was.
I walked round the garden as the sun broke through the mist and manged to get some web pictures. The lawns were covered in webs which didn't surprise me as I know we have lots of spiders in the grass. What did surprise me was how many webs on the nettles, wondered if these had been made by caterpillars, I hadn't seen any, but there seemed to be a lot of caterpillar poo in some of the webs.
