Visit to Dumfries House Estate

Today we took a run to this magnificent 2000 acres estate in the Ayrshire countryside. It's part of The Prince's Foundation.

Japanese Pagoda in the Maze, Woodland Shelter in the Arboretum, the 18th century Palladian mansion of Dumfries House, the Chinese Bridge which is based on an1899 design but not constructed until 2016 and at the centre a tortoiseshell butterfly of which there were loads in the arboretum.
A gloriously warm and sunny day.
