Forgotten

Last time I was up north (apart from my recent sojourn), I left my book. It’s Sapiens: a Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. I was really enjoying it, too. We had an NCN booked for April, so I thought I’d get it back then. But Covid and lockdown happened.

I remembered to bring it back home this time, but I forgot my coat. I wouldn’t care – I walked straight past it to get to the front door.

I’m nearly halfway through my book, but I’m going to have to start it again because I can’t remember what was said.

I wished I was back up there today – it was 30°C here, but only 24° there.
