My name is Porridge and i am a calligrapher. Its something that I have dabbled in since I was a child. It is, perhaps, not something which you would guess from a glance at my handwriting, but it is something which i enjoy. Black lettering and coloured celtic knotwork illumination is the general basis for the things that I do.

The glass pen in the picture is at the same time irritating and lovely to use - I find it to be the most difficult pen to work, but there is a deep satisfaction when it does come alive...
