Tri-colored Heron ~ Hunting

One of today's birds. Look at its neeeeeeecccckk!

The wind was from the south, fairly brisk, and there were no flies at the beach today. Hurrah! Yesterday we were basically driven home early by the biting flies. They are dreadful - and they are always on the beach when the wind is off the land.
