Sgwarnog: In the Field

Spell

Despite the warm spell we are at the tail end of the butterfly year - just the odd one or two here and there rather than meadows brimming with them. I seem not to have blipped a Peacock since April, so here’s the only one of those that I saw today.

I’m in the middle of one of my most intense work weeks of the year, as the preparations for the new term ramp up, which means creating space and time for a lunch time walk is even more important.

Thankfully my Covid test came back negative.  I wasn’t so worried about myself, but more the fact that I’d just spent a couple of days in close contact with my Mum. It’s a relief to have the all clear.
