The ceremonial disposal of the bag

This little backpack belonged to Mum years ago and she used it for hillwalking. When she said she was getting rid of it as it hurt her shoulders, I acquired it thinking that a neat little oblong grey backpack was exactly what I needed for my lap top and work papers. It has done the job well - coming to tens if not hundreds of meetings with me. However, it has had its day - and as I finished work for a pretty long time yesterday, it has gone to backpack heaven where only bags that have served their time well and fully may go.
