Solace Day 8

The final morning.

We had heard that that the weather was due to worsen, so it was no surprise this morning to see snow on the jetty. The air outside was icy as I slipped out with the camera. Just one more blip to complete the holiday.

Not an easy morning, getting all our stuff along the boarding to the car park through the snow. The men did well!

All went well with our journey north up the M6, long queues on the southbound carriage, the wind had caused a couple of accidents.

All in all, the week has been good. The weather at this time of year could have been worse and The Mother's health could certainly have been worse. She has come well through this week. A great transformation. Back onto solid foods, coping better and feeling stronger. It was a worry taking her but it has been for the best!
