Figbird

Late afternoon, and I needed a blip for the day. I headed for the Lake Ainsworth heathland, and this pair of Australasian Figbirds obliged, posing in the late afternoon sun. The male, on the left, has a red eye patch. The female, on the right, is more subdued. They are related to the orioles. And eat figs.
