no soggy bottoms here

My mum holding her Victoria Sponge, based on the Mary Berry recipe... As fans of the great British Bake Off will know, there can be no higher praise than to have your baking described as light and airy and without a soggy bottom.

I had to bully Mum into letting me blip her, but a cake this good deserved to be immortalised...

Apple pie last night...Victoria Sponge tonight? I can only assume that she doesn't want me to move back into my own house... Dad on the other hand has said that it's been great having us to stay, but it'll be even better seeing us go ;-)
